Each to his or her own way, outside or inside the estate. Structures and fitness trails have been specially designed for everyone. Paris is only 45 km away, but it has never seemed so far away…
Whether you’re a track or a muddy trail fan, a forest slalom or a tarmac road, cyclists are in heaven on the edge of the Vallée de Chevreuse. Gravel friendly!
The commune of Bonnelles is crossed by the cycle path leading from Notre-Dame de Paris to Mont Saint-Michel (the Véloscénie).
At Le Barn, the first step out of your room is synonymous with escape. While there are countless opportunities for walks within the estate itself, the surrounding area is criss-crossed by numerous short and long-distance footpaths.
Known for its tour of the Ile-de-France region, the GR1® winds its way between the Rambouillet forest and the Vallée de Chevreuse. Alternatively, the GR655®, the long route to Santiago de Compostela, passes through the commune of Bonnelles.
– At Le Barn, horses are everywhere you look. Backing onto the Haras de la Cense, a mecca for the human-horse relationship, Le Barn offers guests the chance to enjoy personalised rides, as well as introductions to an approach to the animal on foot and mounted.
