Le Barn goes beyond the sheer enjoyment of eating well. Around the large wooden tables, or under the superb glass roof, nothing but fresh produce, just-picked from the vegetable garden. Our Chef prepares each dish before you, a cuisine rich in conviviality and generosity. The recipes of the day are planned and created according to the season, harvest and inspiration of the moment. Restaurant La Serre

At La Serre, the Chef has invented a gourmet bistro cuisine, both indulgent yet sophisticated. Preparing his recipes and traditional dishes in front of you, using local produce from our own vegetable garden, nearby markets and producers. Large seasonal salads, blanquette of veal, traditional chicken casserole and leg of lamb, plus pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven. Each succeeding the other on a constantly renewed menu.

Le Clark is a welcoming space used for all “little” gourmet. This room can also be privatized for your evenings!

Our Bar

Large sofas and comfortable armchairs surround the impressive wood-burner in the centre of the room. A focal point, a place to meet and get-together, the bar is the heart of Le Barn. According to the time of day, come and share a coffee, a glass of wine, a beer or a cocktail. Whatever the season, the bar extends naturally towards the Atelier (Workshop) and into the Jardin d’Hiver (Conservatory), to the spacious terrace where the sounds from the forest echo the clink of the glasses…


Our Permaculture Farm

Not far from the barns, we have created a small permaculture farm, an affirmation of our commitment to contribute to the stability and self-sufficiency of the land, our land. Far more than a way of growing, it is a veritable philosophy. In the company of the Chef or the Master of the Household, you can pick your own fruit and vegetables and prepare them in the kitchens, leave with your basket of ready-cooked jars, or simply take your harvest away in a box.

The rythm of the seasons

Throughout the year, we match our menu to the harvest of the season (strawberries, black radish, mushrooms, sweet peppers, chestnuts, plums, fennel and more). A calendar showing the fruit and vegetables of the moment is displayed, together with our recipe of the day (a strawberry gâteau in summer, tart Tatin in winter…).

Our cookery & cocktails lessons

Designed as a place of sharing, Le Barn offers an opportunity to join in and help create the day’s menu. All you need to do is accompany our Chef to the vegetable garden and discuss the different fruit and vegetables ready for picking that morning. Or learn the art of the perfect cocktail with an introduction to mixology at the bar. Create your own cocktail recipe that you can enjoy each time you return to Le Barn, a promise of the pleasure to come. And without forgetting the children, who can join also in our culinary explorations and learn to make their own bread, butter or delicious jam (using our own fruit)…
